We're Luanna and Nick, and our journey to founding SOSTENTO began during our time in graduate school. Like many students, we struggled with food insecurity and faced the challenge of balancing our demanding schedules and low income with our health. As professionals in the field of science, we were also deeply concerned about the ingredients in the pre-made and instant meals we relied on, but we simply didn’t have the time or resources to prepare healthier options.

Then, we found it—a brand of instant food that was not only nutritious but also affordable, and it quickly became a lifesaver. It was the perfect solution for busy people who want to fuel their bodies with wholesome, high-quality food without sacrificing convenience. Inspired by this discovery, we decided to create SOSTENTO: a vending machine service that makes healthy food easily accessible to those on the go.
